This week at MPC

MPC welcomes you to a happy spring, nourished by our intention to water the seeds of peace, compassion and understanding in ourselves and in our world.

**We are looking for volunteers for the 7 am morning meditations to share their availability for April (starting March 30) to June 26 2026. Please share your capacity and interest to help support the facilitation team, with your first and second choices for which morning, or if you like to share a day with someone else.** We are happy to welcome and support new Sangha members who would like to grow their practice through service. Email mindfulnesspracticecommunity@gmail.com for more information.

“Touching the seeds of peace, stability, and compassion.”

Week of March 22, 2026

Look deeply: I arrive in every second

to be a bud on a spring branch,
to be a tiny bird, with wings still fragile,
learning to sing in my new nest,
to be a caterpillar in the heart of a flower,
to be a jewel hiding itself in a stone.

I still arrive, in order to laugh and to cry,
in order to fear and to hope.
The rhythm of my heart is the birth and

death of all that are alive.(Thich Nhat Hanh)

In-person practice

In-person practice at Roncesvalles every Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Roncesvalles United Church (214 Wright Avenue, Toronto, ON M6R1L3)

Online weekly sittings

Our Monday-Friday mornings online continue from 7:00-7:30 am and Wednesday evenings only, from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm.

Upcoming Event – Day of Mindfulness

Dana

Giving (dana) is an essential Buddhist practice. It is about generosity, openness, and our capacity to embrace others with compassion and love. MPC is able to maintain our online presence, our in-person location, and all special events because of the generosity of volunteers and the donations or dana from our beloved community. Dana can come in the form of etransfers to mindfulnesspracticecommunity@gmail.com or at all in-person events. If you are unable to contribute financially, your smile, your practice, and your generous and open heart are enough. You are enough.
